According to the data released by CISA (China Iron and Steel Association), Chinese registered steelmakers contributed a daily crude steel output of 1.5142 million metric tons in middle December. Meanwhile, Chinese average daily crude steel output was estimated to stand at 1.6852 million metric tons in middle December, down by 0.44% versus early December.
According to feedbacks, Chinese domestic steel mills have reduce production constantly to cope with declining steel demand in the winter season, when construction activity is almost suspended in northern regions.
